Christy did not practice theory test
It was the 24th of October, and I had been waiting for that day for weeks. One of my best friends, whose name is Christie, celebrated her twenty-eighth birthday. She would not have actually celebrated it if it had not been for us. I woke up my wife Ann and my son Harry at eight o"clock and we packed our present for Christie together. It was a T-shirt with a funny caricature of her face. We knew that she wouldn"t take offence because of that. She has a good sense of humour. I knew that she was going to practice theory test on that particular day, but why should she study on her birthday? After we have packed the present, we had breakfast, got dressed and left home. We drove to a park which is situated near Christie"s house. I called her and asked her if she felt like going for a walk with us. She seemed reluctant at first, but I could feel that she did not want to practice theory test at all. Then she agreed to meet us in the main alley. Ten minutes later, she appeared in the park, and we took our gift from the bag. She was really suprised and she seemed to have forgotten it was her birthday! Anyway, she liked our present very much and she even offered to take us on a trip that afternoon. It was a sunny Sunday so we decided to go to the zoo.
